WHAT IS THE SEVEN DAYS STRUCTURED DATA PLAN?

 COLIBRY SYSTEM BACKBONE

The COLIBRY backbone design is based on what we know about how an aircraft flies and what is needed as assets to make the magic happens, including the interior. Click on the following links if you want to know more about the instigator of the Colibry project and why the project

The flight engineering principles are fundamentals included in the system through both ATAEZY © , and any stress, wear and tear, that may happen to the aircraft in it’s lifecycle.

The thought process also includes all variables such as the life limits, limitations, tolerances, all airworthiness directives, service bulletins, the modifications applied to the particular aircraft. You will find more information on the true cost of aircraft maintenance here.

In other words, these initial empty shells must be filled in by the proper aircraft data before the body can operate. Blood is the data. Data is its maintenance history and the tool to make decisions. This is also achieved thanks to the dedicated Colibry algorithm through data extraction of all the aircraft maintenance history, inspections and cost related factors.

The obstacle of retrieving data from old paperwork system has been largely overcome by the creation of a dedicated algorithm towards the aircraft to extract the data in a usable digital form. To be able to do this, all physical formats must be converted into digital format. Today it’s an easy step, and it’s called Colibry data extraction. This process is outside the SDSDP but can be processed by a COLIBRY analyst.

From this point, the COLIBRY algorithm extracts the data and feed the aircraft dedicated system.

It means that the very first step to reach utmost performance is to first digitally extract the relevant aircraft data, which is then integrated into the dedicated database.

We become completely accountable in this way for anything that follows. It’s a change of paradigm in this business of aircraft maintenance.

“You become responsible for what you tame”, quote The Little Prince.

The next steps include:

° The complete integration of all the Maintenance Planning Document versions for the targeted aircraft with all its tasks,

° The time limits and tolerances

° The aircraft digital clone mapped to all the structured data.

° Every single functionality used is then automatically connected to all the dots, including the digital clone.

° Time being the ultimate luxury, an aircraft is quickly completely operational on COLIBRY, the only source of reliable data.

Every metric extracted relates to a specific KPI or business outcome with performance measures. From there on, the SDSDP applied, the following are questions that are easily answered:

  • What is your desired outcome?
  • Why does this outcome matter?
  • How can you measure progress and influence the outcome?
  • Who is responsible for the business outcome?
  • It’s all about using maintenance metrics to connect the dots and eliminate bad habits to reduce downtime.
  • MTX metrics can help you spot where you’re spending money unnecessarily.
  • Numbers tell the best story which is where MTX metrics help find causal relationships.
  • With advances in computing power and data storage through cloud computing, AI is now well positioned to do amazing things.

This is all part of COLIBRY.
